PRISM Awards Shortlisting Shines a Light On FILTR’s PR Capabilities
Putting our clients in the spotlight is what we do, so it made a change for the FILTR team to be the center of attention for a change when we were shortlisted for ‘Best New PR Agency’ in the PRISM Awards, organized by the Institute of Public Relations in Singapore (IPRS).Time flies, and it’s hard to believe that we’re not even 18 months old as an agency, but we’d like to think our shortlisting was in recognition of the tremendous client base we’ve built up in such a short time. When you look at the logos we can throw onto a Powerpoint slide or namedrop in a new business pitch – Shiseido, The Macallan, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Desigual, Remy Martin, Toblerone, Cadbury, Paco Rabanne – we’re incredibly fortunate to work with some serious brands.
Something else we hope impressed the judges was the strategic nature of what we do. It may sound clichéd and something every agency would claim, but we really aren’t just another press-release factory. We’d like to think we’re an extension of our clients’ organisations and help to make a real difference to their businesses.
Unfortunately we didn’t scoop the award but still had a great evening at the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. We’d like to think if there was an award for best-looking PR agency we’d be in the running, (no thanks to Alex and Nick…).
