FILTR’s Clients Getting Down With Digital
Travel Retail has been suffering from a bit of a digital headache for a few years (this is a subject we’ve covered at length before). However, there’s signs of a nascent digital uprising in the industry, as evidenced by the number and quality of the projects shortlisted for the Moodie Davitt Digital Awards. FILTR’s clients are among those leading the charge. Shiseido – arguably one of the most digitally ambitious brandowners in the TR space have been shortlisted in three categories for two innovative digital and omnichannel initiatives – ShiShi: Travel & Happiness and Rouge Rouge. Mondelez WTR – winners last year – are looking to retain their crown having been shortlisted for a major Toblerone campaign in 2016. Finally, Lotte – pioneers of online travel retail – have been shortlisted for no fewer than five (!) awards. Then again, when you have the resources and expertise to create your own online soap opera, with a distinctly duty-free led storyline, which racks up over 100 million views in less than two months, it’s fair to say that you might just have a good thing going where digital is concerned.
